global results on some nonlinear partial differential equations for direct and inverse problems
Spaces of Functions Satisfying Simple Differential Equations
In [6]–[9] the first author published an algorithm for the conversion of analytic functions for which derivative rules are given into their representing power series ∞ ∑ k=0 akz k at the origin and vice versa, implementations of which exist in Mathematica [19], (s. [9]), Maple [12] (s. [4]) and Reduce [5] (s. [13]). One main part of this procedure is an algorithm to derive a homogeneous linear ...
متن کاملNonstandard finite difference schemes for differential equations
In this paper, the reorganization of the denominator of the discrete derivative and nonlocal approximation of nonlinear terms are used in the design of nonstandard finite difference schemes (NSFDs). Numerical examples confirming then efficiency of schemes, for some differential equations are provided. In order to illustrate the accuracy of the new NSFDs, the numerical results are compared with ...
متن کاملMonotony of Solutions of Some Difference and Differential Equations
In this contribution motivated by some analysis of the first author concerning bounds of topological entropy it is shown that a well known sufficient condition for a difference and differential equation with constant real coefficients to possess strictly monotone solution appears to be also necessary. Transparent proofs of adequate generalizations to Banach space analogs are presented. 1. Motiv...
متن کاملNumerical Solution of Some Classical Differential - Difference Equations
For differential-difference equations, we provide a method that gives numerical solutions accurate to hundreds or even thousands of digits. We illustrate with numerical solutions to three classical problems. With a few exceptions, previous claims of extended accuracy for these problems are found to be wrong.
